![]() One unforeseen thing about moving in to our house before our house was really ready for us to move in, is this deep sense of gratitude when we complete a project. We lived in our house several months before the shower was finished and ready to use. And now we have such a sense of gratitude for our shower, making life much easier for us. The same holds true for the kitchen sink. While it is possible to live without one, it sure makes meal preparation and dish washing easier when you have one. And a few days later Dave got the dishwasher, that our kind neighbors Patti & Stu gave us, hooked up. Lucy & Dave (our dynamite dishwashing duo) are extremely grateful for this latest addition. They no longer have a milk crate of dirty dishes staring at them as they are thinking about turning in for the evening. We are so glad we moved in to our house early, before it was really ready, not only was it a great exercise in patience but it came with an unexpected bonus of profound gratitude for things we have taken for granted up to this point in our lives. :) |
